Mary Ann Haddock Smith, 70, most recently of Lehi, Utah passed away peacefully in her home from complications related to Alzheimer’s disease on January 27, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Mary Ann was born to Ray and Phyllis Haddock in Idaho Falls, Idaho on May 7, 1946. She studied Dance at Brigham Young University where she met her eternal companion Michael Wayne Smith. They were married on September 16, 1971.
Mary Ann was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. She had a successful career at Heritage Residential Treatment Center for twenty-three years. Her first priority was always her children. She loved listening to good music, cooking for her family, and going to Broadway plays. Mary Ann danced through life.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Michael. She is survived by her 2 brothers: Gary (Kara) Haddock and Doug Haddock; six children: Marnie (Rick) Meredith, Mitch (Cassidy) Smith, Megan (Brent) Castagnetto, Mandy (Zac) Haws, McLane (Ashley) Smith, Macie (Kaiden) Redd; and 21 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the North Lake First Ward Building located at 828 South Center Street in Lehi. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral services.
Interment will be at the Lehi City Cemetery.
