Uncle Max was at the heart of many wonderful memories. We had snow ball fights with him as little kids, and family Thanksgiving and Christmas get togethers at his house. For years he picked up day old loaves of bread and pasteries from Harmon's which he then distributed to the needy and homeless. Max and I had many lunches at Chuck-A-Rama, a favorite location for him. We would talk for hours about religion, politics, talk radio and family. Max always up-dated me on each of his kids, and say over and over how proud they made him and how much he loved them. I will miss you Max, until I see you in the next life and hear your unforgettable laugh and see your smiling face again. -Martin Tanner
