My heart is so heavy right now! I just found out about Melinda’s passing. I haven’t seen her since she came to my wedding. Melinda has been my friend for such a long time. She was one of my earliest cheerleaders. She saw me at some of my worst times but she fought with me to get sober and stuck around to celebrate how beautiful life can be. The fact that she made the effort to come to my wedding meant the world to me, and she made my special day even better by celebrating with me! I am going to miss you so freaking much Melinda. The most amazing people are always taken way too soon. Prayers for her family during this difficult time. Melinda was truly one of a kind!
