Dave Johnson
Mel was one of the first people we met when we moved to Roy, He wanted to come and visit us at our home. Mel had quite the personality!!! He was enjoyable to talk to. We learned a lot about Mel and Becky.
Although I've only known Mel for a relatively brief time, it seemed as if we new each other in many ways much longer. Mel was so approachable and always left me feeling better about life in general after the many visits we shared.
I'll miss Mel's faith promoting experiences. I will miss the opportunities to get and share fishing reports with Mel even though some might question the accuracies,I will cherish those occasions. I will miss the chance's I've had to see Mel's countenance change when we talked about our dream cars from our past.
I'm grateful for how Mel exemplified love for his Wife Becky, his family and his friends. I'm grateful for the opportunities to get to know Mel and feel it a privilege to call him my friend. I know through the life Mel has led his legacies will be alive through his loving family and posterity.
Love,
Dave & Lynda Johnson and Family
