Melvin Leslie Osborn's Obituary
Melvin Leslie Osborn, 71, returned home to his Heavenly Father Monday, July 15, 2019 at his home, in the company of loving family.
Mel will be fondly remembered by family and friends for his quick wit, infectious humor, passion for fishing, and above all his lighthearted and generous spirit.
Mel built an Independent P&C Insurance Agency, later transitioning into the Senior Insurance market, a business he proudly grew into a great Rolodex of clients and even greater Rolodex of lifelong friends and fishing companions.
He was preceded in death by his father John R. Osborn Jr., mother Carolina M. Roestenburg, and son Joseph E. Osborn.
Mel was "Baby Brother" to Richard, Carl and Norman. Loving husband to his patient and devoted sweetheart Rebecca. Caring and committed father of Monte, Joe (d.) and Brian. Doting grandfather of Alyson, Tyson, Brittany, Ezra and Seth. Adoring great-grandfather of Kaleigh, Mathew, Leo and Brandon.
A funeral service will be held Friday, July 19, 2019 11:00 am at the LDS Meetinghouse located at 5301 South 2100 West, Roy, UT 84067. A 2:00 pm graveside dedication will be held at Elysian Burial Gardens located at 1075 East College St (4580 South); Millcreek, UT 84117.
