His laugh was contagious, he was always happy and laughing, get that dance floor ready for us all!
I met Mike at Etiwanda High School when I transferred from South Carolina. I met him through a mutual friend, Marty. We had something much fun back then. I am devastated at his passing. He was so young. Jr graduated the year after me.

This candle seemed appropriate. It looks like the same color as beeswax candles. Rest well Michael!

Me and Michael or Tiffany would always meet up to either drop off or pick up Zoey and Bret when they were still dating. It was a long drive, and he was always so willing to drive all the way to the "Bret and Zoey" meeting place (which kept changing as they moved). He was always so kind and had a smile when the lovebirds would change cars. I just remember his kind smile and calm demeanor even though he was usually on the go when I saw him. I was privileged to know him for the short time that I did. I had looked forward to the many years that our newly blended families were going to share together with him and feel as many others do that he was taken home too soon. He will be missed, and the memories that we didn't get to make as a family with him are already greatly missed. We love you Michael! We will be making our memories with you later in the eternities!! I know that Bret felt that you were an awesome father-in-law!
Michael connected with me over Facebook a few years ago. We discussed a shared love of heavy metal music, and I loved reading about his beekeeping and seeing the photos he posted.
I will always remember the walks to school after seminary my 10th and 11th grade years (Mike's 9th and 10th). How once he lent me his jacket to wrap around my waist when the back of my skirt ripped when we'd hop over the gate in the church parking lot instead of walking all the way around to the open gate. Said to hold onto it til one of my parents could bring me a change of clothes. He always made sure to ask me for at least one dance at the youth dances because I was too shy to ask anyone and rarely got asked to dance. The fun we had at Disneyland for my 16th birthday...he kept me sane that day even though my younger cousin was so annoying. He always knew when I needed a good laugh though he loved to get me mad occasionally just to see my reaction. Yes, he will be one of those friends that I will always remember.

Too many memories to pick just one, we went to many concerts together, had many great deep conversations, and danced a lot back in the day.

Taking me to Disneyland before his mission and hanging out with him in yearbook class in highschool . Loved his artwork . He was a friend to all . God speed Mike . You’re at peace now.
