I worked on “B” crew at Kennecott with Mike as a Maintenance Supervisor. I look back on my career, and I remember the people who had character. Many people fell short on my expectations. Mike on the other hand was a true man who was impressive at work.
Dear family of Mike Wright,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of our longtime friend,with such a hard disease people have said to endure, but knowing the kind of person that he was, somehow feel it was with much courage and strength.Tom my late husband and Mike grew up together in Kearns, and many stories of Granger High come to mind, with Mike Bruce, and Jim Horan etc.
We also were friends of the family and remember how sweet the kids were as young ones and how much they loved their Dad. We lost touch over the years, but remember a very kind funloving person and good friend that I bet Tom greeted in heaven. May God bless you all in your sorrow and comfort you. I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I remember serving with him on the Activities Committee and he was always a hard worker and never complained. He was quick to smile and laugh too. I am so sorry for all those he loved and left behind. I wish you'd gotten more time with him here on earth but am thankful for the eternal opportunities you'll share.
jan, i was so sorry and sad to hear of mikes passing ,my heart ,thoughts and prayers are with you and jackie i was thinking back to when we were in the 5th ward together and when you married mike ,you never looked happier im so glad that you had some beautiful and wonderful times together. i hope you feel the love that we have for you ,you are a wonderful sister in the gospel and i hope you feel the peace and comfort that only the lord can give ,if there is ever anything i can do please let me know , love susan
