I worked with Michael at SLC Tower/TRACON for many years "SI" were his operating initials in the Air Traffic Control world. He was good friend, I always think of how he was so fiercely loyal to those he counted as his friends. Very proud of his Hawaiian heritage, woe be the person who challenged his ancestry!! Always called me "Boss" even though he also became an ATC Supervisor part his loyalty issue. I shall miss his happy humor, tough Hawaiian language that he frequently laid on me all deserved. SI was one of kind the world is better because of his character and again his loyalty to those he loved. Rest in Peace Michael I shall never forget you.
