We were friends. I visited him at his home. We talked for hours , he is very smart. He will be missed. BLESS THE FAMILY may they find comfort and peace .
I saw him about a year ago , he showed me a video about aliens a documentary , at his house he was fixing it up . I was proud of him for buying a house . He was very sweet to me. I miss him , after that we chatted in messenger on facebook.
may THE LORD be with him and his family, In comfort , and love.
my name is Suzanne Merrill. I have loved Myles Holyoak for many years. My first introduction to him was in my Lindon home and Bishop Godfrey had often used our home for Singles Ward activities.for idifferent games and and pool parties.
Myles knocked on our door. He started....."I am over the youth of this Singles Ward. I’ve come to bring them and tell you who I am and what my position is in my word calling. We talked about him when he had come from come through and how well he was doing with the choices he’s making out faithfully to the church as strong strong. TESTIMONY and I came to know him he was always seemingly when he moved to different words as the word mission later , He had strong testimony express himself very well and had converts. I always felt like people would think themselves if he could make it I could make it.pl

Myles took me on a date once. He had asked about all my favorite things prior and when we were on our date he had incorporated those things into it. He had even put together a picnic basket with a purple (my favorite color at the time) handkerchief and had picked my favorite flowers and put them in so sweetly. Although nothing came of our date, I have always thought of him with kindness and respect. He is a good guy. Rest in peace.
I will never forget the evening I had gone over to the our church building to sit in the hall while Bishop Godfrey visited in his office with a Sister from our singles ward.
After, Bishop had another interview with a Brother and I didn’t need to stay for that…but I was nervous about walking out alone to my car in a far dark corner of the church parking lot.
Myles happened to be in the hall at that moment I was headed out. Bishop said “Will you be all right walking out alone?”
Myles immediately piped up with “I will walk her out!”
I have never felt so safe walking in the dark than I did with him as my body guard!
Myles…this memory of you will forever be with me! It shows just who you really are! Loving and caring for others as the Savior did and does!
