Myles Booth Holyoak's Obituary
Myles Booth Holyoak, born Oct 24th 1983 in Provo Utah, died Feb 9th 2024 at the age of 40. Myles is survived by his parents R. Larson Holyoak and Susan Elizabeth Booth Holyoak, brother Philip (Jill), sisters Suzette, and Shaunelle (Steven) Shanks, one nephew and two nieces.
Myles spent his youth in Lindon Utah and resided in and around Utah county for all his life, most recently as a resident of Springville.
Myles’ interests were wide and varied. Many of his hobbies included things such as drawing, calligraphy, 3D models and barbequing. Myles also loved nature and enjoyed hiking, camping and many other outdoor adventures both in Utah and abroad. Myles considered himself a bit of a nerd who also enjoyed Sci-Fi literature and film.
Myles possessed many talents and was very artistic and creative, good with his hands, and a keen ability to make an idea a reality. Myles used those talents throughout his career as a mason, framer, auto mechanic, and general contractor. Later he started his own company specializing in construction projects such as remodels, home additions and outdoor spaces.
Myles had a big heart and a generous nature, making friends everywhere he went. He enjoyed working with people and was always willing to help where needed. Myles had a sarcastic sense of humor enjoyed by many. His life experiences enabled him to relate and connect with people from many walks of life.
Myles was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with a strong faith in Jesus Christ. He served in a variety of church capacities including ward mission leader, which was his favorite.
Myles will be missed by all who knew him.
The services will be held on Saturday, February 24th at the Lindon Central Stake Center located at 600 North 56 East in Lindon, Utah. The viewing will be from 9:30-10:45am. The funeral will begin at 11am.
