I got the news late, on Christmas Day, while visiting family in Michigan. Nancy and I have much in common, more than just time at Denby High School and Michigan Tech. I was in touch with her before, during and after her recent joyful birthday. God bless Miles, Nathan, Robert & Laura and Mark. Nancy was a dear friend and neighbor. I saw her several times a day some days. We had a fun friendship. We walked the neighborhoods together, took off on e-bikes together, shared food and recipes with each other. We visited each other often with our home made dinners and such to share with each other. For years she has been a staple in my life. We both loved politics and I loved picking her brain on all subjects especially her political views. She was smart, Beautiful, sassy yet quiet at the same time. She loved her boys with all of her heart. She loved her brothers and family so much. I will miss her beautiful smile and most of all her laugh. It was my favorite! I love you Nancy there is a hole in my heart you left too soon. I love you

Nancy was like a 2nd sister to me. She had a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed. There is a void in many lives with her passing.
Nancy was such a sweet soul, I can honestly say I never heard her say anything bad about anyone. Not even the lady who let her dog poop on her lawn and walked away, she just went out and picked it up. She offered her love for humanity with an open heart. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. I’m so grateful for all the great talks & times I shared with her.
