Nick LaMarr's Obituary
Nick LaMarr, unexpectedly returned to our Heavenly Father on September 9, 2023, where he was gloriously reunited with his daughter Nikki Jo and his parents.
Nick was born in Los Angeles, California on April 10, 1949. Nick left California in 1971 and moved to Wyoming to work for Bridger Power Plant and attend Western Wyoming Community College, where he earned an associate's degree in electrical.
In 1972 Nick went to work for General Chemical, where he worked for several years before meeting and later marrying, the love of his life, Becky in 1979.
Nick moved his wife and 4 kids to Ogden, Utah, where he went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Weber State University.
Nick taught automotive at Job Corp, Weber High School, Roy High School, OWATC, and CTE at Mount Ogden Middle School. After retiring “for real” in 2019 he drove a bus for Weber school district.
Nick loved his family with everything he had. He especially had a soft spot for his grandkids and great-grandkids. The time he spent with his grandchildren put a smile on his face to be remembered.
Nick enjoyed spending time in the outdoors with his wife and family. Nick was a teacher at heart and enjoyed passing on his skill set to others. He was a master mechanic and loved working on his cars and motorcycles as much as he enjoyed driving them through the mountains to enjoy and photograph the beautiful outdoors.
