Nicole Moselle Fox's Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nicole Moselle Fox, a devoted mother, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, partner, and friend, who left us unexpectedly on November 14, 2024, at the age of 38.
Born on November 25, 1985, in Salt Lake City, UT, was the daughter of Ike and Mitzi Fox. She graduated from Valley High School, where she earned a scholarship and went on to obtain a CNA certificate, embodying her passion for helping others.
Nicole married Jared Townsend, and together they welcomed three beautiful children, Tyler, Holly, and Andy. After their divorce, Nicole met Tristan Barnes, and in December 2023, they welcomed adorable baby Mitzi. Nicole was a devoted mother whose love for her children knew no bounds. She dedicated her life to supporting them, always encouraging their dreams and instilling values of kindness, compassion, and fun.
Family meant everything to Nicole, and she cherished creating memories from family gatherings, holidays, and adventures. Her thoughtful nature shone through in the little things- whether planning birthday parties or simply being present. Nicole had an innate ability to make everyone around her feel loved and supported. From a young age, she had a warmth and kindness that touched everyone around her. Nicole had a remarkable way of finding beauty in the world. Her laughter was contagious, and her empathy knew no bounds. She was a loyal friend, making everyone feel valued and understood.
In addition to her role as a mother, she also worked as a CNA at South Davis Community Hospital, then changed careers working at Bountiful City Light and Power, and most recently at the Internal Revenue Service where she excelled and loved her job and co-workers.
Nicole is survived by her children; Tyler Townsend, Holly Townsend, Andy Townsend, and Mitzi Barnes; her parents, Ike and Mitzi Fox; her younger brother, Colton Fox and wife MaKayla and niece Gracie Kay; her boyfriend Tristan Barnes; her grandmother Linda Hellewell; grandfather John Mitchell; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents LaVar and Betty Fox, and Jerry Hellewell.
A celebration of Nicole’s life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 4-6 PM at Premier Funeral Services, 67 East 8000 South, Midvale, UT.
Nicole’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her kindness, laughter, singing, and love will be profoundly missed. Rest in peace, dear Nicole. You have left an indelible mark on our lives and will forever be in our hearts.
