I was saddened to hear of Pats passing. I have fond memories of her and her family in Moroni, UT and the Big R.
My deepest sympathies to her family.
Pat and I had many years of fun growing up. We lived down the street from each other as tiny girls and spent hours together. Our mothers were 2nd cousins and were from a very close family.
When Pat was really young she was bit by a black-widow spider and it was a very close call. I was really scared at the time .... still hate those spiders.
Our dads were in business together when we were little girls and it was an exciting business for us; The Farm Center ..... before all of the trendy farmers markets became popular. They sold Christmas trees during the season and had to spend the night protecting their goods. We really had such fun. They went out of business together, they moved on to many other businesses and our family moved on with a new dad. We were really progressive.
Pat lived in everything from a railroad car to a mansion in the heights and on to a chicken ranch. We were always stuck in a house in the city. She always lived a very happy life and we enjoyed spending time together talking and laughing.
The last time I saw her we were both accompanying our moms to a ward reunion and we had a good time talking then.
She will be missed but is certainly enjoying some freedom from her illnesses. She also had great siblings that watched over her in her last years. rm56
