Randy and I met at the vasa gym about 10 years ago. There were several others we met and became friends with. There is about 5 of us who always met and talked about our ailments and many other things.it was fun and we all looked forward to seeing and talking with each other. We knew about Randy’s surgery and were totally in shock to hear of his passing. He has many friends at the gym and we all miss him. He was a wonderful man and loved by many. Me sincerest condolences to his family.

I had the fortunate chance to travel with Mr. Rehrer across Europe, sitting next to him each time on the bus. One afternoon, while traveling from Austria to Italy, I took a nap with my face against the window; I woke up abruptly to Mr. Rehrer rocking out to Aerosmith's "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)" -- stomping his foot and tapping his fingers on the armrest. Mr. Rehrer also never shied away from adventure, challenging the group to hike beyond the Neuschwanstein Castle, venture out on Gondola in Venice, and much more. Beyond Europe, I have vivid memories of learning about the Vietnam War, JFK's assassination, the Civil War, and the importance of being on time for class (no matter what!) from taking both US History and US Government with Mr. Rehrer at MVHS. I also credit Randy with teaching me how to take exceptional study notes, contributing to many successful college moments and career highlights. Thank you, Mr. Rehrer!

Coach Rehrer had an amazing impact on my life as a high schooler and as an adult as I now have had a coaching career for more than 20 years, his impacted me lives on today. Too many countless memories of him in my life.
