Roy & Jo Andrus
Bryn & Family, Ray has been one of my Harmoni-Katzz & Choir member since 2008 at the Kearns Senior Center.(Eddie P. Mayne) I would watch him in Choir & he would just stare at his book & not sing. I figured it was good for him & I knew he loved music. When we performed I would have him do solo's. Golden Slippers was usually his favorite or the train song. When we would do "How Much is that Doggie in the Window" he would always do his "Mean Dog bark". When we were at the old Rocky Mountain Care Center in the parking lot of the old Pioneer Hospital an elderly lady that had her eyes closed about jumped out of her wheelchair when he barked. He did a solo in a Choir Concert of "I'm my own Grandpa". You could hear a pin drop because we had no idea what a beautiful voice he had. We realized he passed that on down the family line. My husband, Roy, & I would always take him with us when we had parties or performances outside the center. I would tell Bryn we'd make sure he got home safe. Bryn was great to always have him dressed in the right t-shirt when we performed. The one he has on in the program was the one for the Harmoni-Katzz. The funeral was very nice. It was good to meet his family & listen to their tributes to him. He was a very special & talented person. Jo Andrus Harmoni-Katzz & Choir Leader
