I was very sad today to find this Life Tribute page for Reinhard. Although we never met in person, we were in touch at various stages of our scientific lives. As a PhD student in the early 1990s, I was very impressed by Reinhard's work on discovering invisible (for the human eye) traces of signals in very noisy INADEQUATE spectra. Later, Reinhard contacted me in the context of my work on NMR databases and analysis and suggested a collaboration. The last thread of email exchanges that I can find is from 2015.
