When Rita arrived at Legacy in April 2024, I contacted her the same day and established a connection. It was a privileged in having her in my life for a small season. Rita was a thoughtful individual who was often worried about imposing on her loved ones. With her sweet smile and sense of humor she made good friends at Legacy. Her little 'Gracie' gave so much comfort even though Gracie was a bundle of energy with a need to lick and lick in showing affection. Thank you Rita for crossing my path you have enriched my life, I will miss you.

A few sweet photos of Rita and family. She looked beautiful at her wedding. Good times with her beloved husband Richard and daughter Rachel. Plus a cute pic from one of our many camping trips with Nanny/Mom (Lilly) and cousins. These camping trips were known as Reese Ordeals for good reason. Haha. We all remember when Rita fell into a prickly pear cactus on one camping trip and mom (Lilly) spent some time picking out the needles from Rita’s backside.
