Robert Lee Parrill Sr's Obituary
IN LOVING MEMORY OF ROBERT LEE PARRILL SR
August 12, 1943 – August 19, 2020
Robert Lee Parrill Sr. passed away peacefully at home in Salt Lake City surrounded by his family on August 19, 2020 at the age of 77.
He was born on August 12, 1943 in Denver, Colorado to parents Clifford and Lena Parrill.
He was happily married to his wife Sharon Depew Parrill, and celebrated together 60 years of marriage on July, 30, 2020
He is survived by his brother Lloyd Parrill, his daughter Debbie Swatzell, son Robert Parrill Jr and daughter Crystal Wilson, along with 13 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren.
He was devoted to his family, as hard a worker as you will ever find, and a man of deep and abiding faith.
He accepted Christ Jesus as his Savior as a young man spending his life learning more about the Lord through reading his beloved King James Bible and faithfully attending the Baptist Church.
He traveled the country for 35 years working industrial construction as project manager, dragging a lot of his family with him. He touched the lives of so many throughout the course of his life because of his patience and ability to relate to them.
He always loved kids, according to his daughter because he was just a big kid himself. He was witty, fun, funny and an absolute pleasure to be around. His sense of humor was legendary in the family and among his friends, as he was throwing out guips and one liners effortlessly with a mischievous grin on his face and a twinkle in his eye.
He loved to fly fish when he could sneak it in. He even carried his fishing pole to South America where the job ended up being in the hottest, driest desert in the world. He was always up for this favorite sport of tennis or any other game his grandchildren might suggest, a natural athlete, everything came easily.
