Rosalie Anderson Larsen
April 19, 1937 – March 18, 2017
Rosalie Anderson Larsen our cherished mother, and grandmother returned to her Heavenly Father to be reunited with her parents Alfred J Anderson and Zaina Louise Sylvester Anderson. Rosalie was born April 19, 1937 in Richfield, Utah where she grew up and attended Richfield High School. She then moved to Salt Lake City to attend Stevens – Henager College.
She married Dell W Larsen in the Salt Lake Temple on September 13, 1956. (Later divorced) They had a son, Richard J Larsen whom they raised in Rose Park and later Holiday Utah. Rosalie was employed with Kemmerer Coal Company in their Salt Lake Office, Utah Board of Education, Sears and finally Utah Power and Light until she retired.
Rosalie was blessed through Richard and his eternal companion Celeste Despain Larsen with 5 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Rosalie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a strong testimony of the plan of salvation. She had great pride in her eternal family.
She is survived by Richard & Celeste; grandchildren, Jacob Richard & Jennifer Fraughton Larsen (West Jordan), Joshua Michael & Maren Smith Larsen (Sandy), Tara Marie and Zeke Martinez (Sandy), Chelsea Louise and Clint Brewster (Lehi) and Zachary J & Emma-Lousie Ann Parsons Larsen (Bourne, England). She has also been blessed with 13 great-grandchildren who were her pride and joy.
Her life was full of love and devotion for her family. We will miss her dearly but are comforted that we will see her again.
Funeral services will be held Friday March 24th at the Mount Olympus Ward, 4635 South Lanark Road beginning at 11:00 A.M. A viewing for friends and family will be prior to services from 9:30 - 10:45 A.M. Interment will be at Richfield City Cemetery, Richfield, Utah Saturday at 12:00 P.M.
