Leann was the baby sister, we both looked up to our big sister Virginia. We shared together, sewed, together, pouted over sharing. There's a bond that's never broken between sisters. She will never be forgotten.
In Loving Memory Of
Rossetta Leann Languein - Sheila’s
I’ll Miss you always - Baby Sister
My heart has been left broken, since the day you had to go. The memories I treasure dearly are in the tears I still flow
You are in my thoughts daily. That is the way it will always be
For now you are up in heaven, but you will always be with me
If only I could have the chance to see your face once more, or hear your voice one final time, just like it was before.
The day that heaven calls for me, I will run to you with open arms, and we will meet once again.
You were such a beautiful kind loving person
You were a daughter, my baby sister, a friend to many, a mother, grand mother and last but not least great grand mother
You conquered it al.
A Limb Has Fallen
in Loving Memory of our Baby Sister
Rossetta Leann Languein -Shields
A limb has fallen from our family tree
I keep hearing a voice, that says,
“Grieve not for me”
Remember the best of times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived, while I was strong.
Comfort my heritage. I’m counting on you to keep smiling and once again the sun will surely shine through
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest
Remembering all and how truly I was blessed
Continue the traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life and don’t worry about the falls.
I miss you dearly. So keep up your chins., until the day comes that we are together again

When I was overseas in Vietnam Leann would spend the weekend with my wife Janet
Janet would tell me in her letters about the fun she spent with Leann during those weekends
Janet thought of Leann as her younger sister because of the bond she felt for her
<><><>
While I was just one of the big brothers that she had
Well each one of us boys were protective of her
One day Don & I got a car stopped by blocking it in the street
There was two guys in the car but we were going to get our hands on one for sure
Don dove through the driver side door attacking a guy while I came through the passenger window
I had him by the neck and the headrest of the seat
I ripped the headrest out and him from the car while Don was continuously beating him
This guy mistreated Leann when at a party
She was considered by us boys as our baby sister & our Princess that we were willing to do anything for her
Each one of the 8 boys was protective of her
I only have memories of her smiling or laughing
She never seemed to let things get her down
Her ability to choose happiness over pity for herself when injured was something that I respected her for
The love she had for her daughters and each of her grandkids I know brought her much happiness
I didn’t get to travel to visit with her because Janet had Agoraphobia and I was home with her my wife
But in phone conversation’s we had we both laughed when sharing stories about our kids and grandkids with each other
Love was in the laughter she had & that told me that she was a happy well loved baby sister that I was always proud of
She was proud of her family each & every one of them with love enough for all of them
Their happiness made her happy & it was evidenced in her laughter each story she shared
