While I have lost close touch in the last several years, I cannot imagine a world for me that does not include Ruby. If anyone could speak frankly with god, I think that it was Ruby, and this gives me great comfort and courage. Ruby found in our program a voice and toolkit that has been aid and succor for an untold number. Blessings to all her family.
My heart is a little less full of light since I heard about Ruby’s passing. I’m so glad to have known her, shared space, laughter and tears with her for so many years. Some of the most amazing people I know owe their amazing-ness to the wisdom, love and compassion of Ruby. Her legacy is immense and will go on for generations. All my love to her family and friends.
No words can express how much I am going to miss my sister, cousin, friend, confident, and travel companion. We have been close to each other for 72 years- Saying "goodbye' is not forever. "Goodbye" just means I'll miss you until we meet again.

Ruby is the most incredible person I’ve ever met. She saved me from myself. She is my best friend, partner in crime, confident and so much more. She held my hand while I walked threw some of the darkest times in my life. I’ll miss her so but will always hear her voice in my head. I love you Ruby and to her family, I’m so sorry for your loss.
Ruby is a gem. I am so glad our paths crossed, and she will remain in my heart forever. I'm lucky to have been able to spend extra time with her recently.
