Ruby Alice Swift Halls' Obituary
Ruby Alice Swift Halls, passed away September 7, 2019 in Ogden, Utah. Born February 6, 1939 in Coalville, Utah to Virgil Max and Theda Alice Redden Swift. Married Alvin S. Cox and had 5 children. He was killed in a hunting accident in 1962. Ruby then married Robert M. Halls in 1969 and lived in Roy, Utah. He died in 1997.
A dedicated member of the Al-Anon Family Group where she held many service positions. She lived in Ogden, Utah for 22 years where she gave safe haven to children, grandchildren and her special Ryker.
Ruby is survived by Zelda Shimada, Kenneth C. cox (Kiley), Carrie Alice McGuire (Kurt), Mark A Cox, Charlotte Cox Beckstead (Darrell) and Katie Cox Barrus (Neil); 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; sister/cousin Bonnie Jean Dredge Adair; also by 5 of her CLUB group, Carol Wilson, Mary Braithwaite, Joann Thompson, Nancy Boyce and Karen Keysaw.
Her ashes will be interred in the Coalville City Cemetery with her beloved husband, Robert, her mom Theda, brother Charles and grandpa Edgar Redden.
In lieu of flowers Ruby asks that you make a donation to the Women’s Retreat 12-Step scholarship fund. Or you can give to Charlotte Beckstead who will donate the money for you.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, September 14, 2019 at Premier Funeral Services, 5335 South 1950 West, Roy, Utah.
