Ruling was my best friend for 20 years. Even being 40 years older. He has been since the day we met. We kicked it off like we’d know each other from birth lol. He was my brother in Christ. My mentor and my teacher. He sure did love the law like Daniel in scriptures did. With ease, he could read scriptures and the law code books, and he could put them together like a lock and key. It was magnificent to watch him do it. He forever remains in the hearts of all those who love him. KB
Rulon was my bus driver in 7th grade. He drove a 1978 Gillig, #307. Kids picked on me a lot during my walk home and he would drop me off closer to home than my stop allowed so I could get home faster. No, not really allowed. But he was a kind soul. I went to elementary school with his son David. If you read this David, he is missed and made a real impact on my young life.
Rulon was. Best friend always wanting the best for all. Sadly before his death it was extremely hard to find him. So many of his friends like myself did not know he passed on till months later as i am just now reading his obituary and want to pass on my greatest condolences to the family!!!!! We will miss going with him to soak in crystal hot springs, eating at different restaurants, sharing humor, stories, and his love of Christ and family.
