Quite a few years ago I worked with Sharren at HMBG and for some reason she came to mind this morning.
Did a search and found that she had passed back in Aug 2019. Although, I felt sad, I thought back about it association- including our many meaningful conversations regarding various life related topics, including the gospel, life struggles, etc.
She was always so thoughtful and caring which showed it many times during those years in her thinking of me and giving me a birthday card every year, thoughtful treats here and there.. a very thoughtful and caring person who touched my life if many ways.. I am grateful to have met and gotten to associate closely with her..
On a funny and lighter note- I'm sort of a prankster and there were quite a few times when I would tip toe into her office when she was turned away from the door. If I made even the slightest bit of sound, she would hear it and look up.
I then would usually say, 'geez, Sharren, you've got ears like an Airedale!' then we'd chat..
God bless you all- her family- I'm sure you have many meaningful, important and uplifting memories of her!

I spent many many hours in Sharren's home as a youth as I was good freinds with Emily & Kathryn. She always welcomed me with a hug and asked if I was hungry. I loved Sunday ice cream night at her house, this is where i learned to eat ice cream on waffles, which I still do to this day!!! I have many fond memories of my childhood spent in in her home.Sharren was a primary teacher for many many years she lived and taught the gospel always and was such a great example to me. She was a wonderful wonderful lady and heaven definately gained a special spirit back home. Jonathon, Emily & Kathryn I am so very sorry for your loss. Such a sad time 😪.Happy for her. Happy Graduation Day Sharren! You will be missed. Sharren taught all of my children as well & was a very dear friend to Mike & I. What a privilege to know her & call her friend. I love you Sharren. I love your beautiful family. RIP my friend.

My grandma is the absolute sweetest lady. I love her so dearly and one thing I know without a doubt is how much she loves me and my family.
When I was a little kid she would let my sister and I come over every Friday and or Saturday night to play and hangout. We would play dress up and Cinderella. My most favorite memories of being with her are going to the mall during the weekend and shopping. We would ride the carousel and go to The Olive Garden. That is her absolute favorite place to eat. I will forever cherish those memories and will always know she is with me through everything. She is such a bright and cheerful lady and never fails to make people smile.
I love you more then anything grandma and I hope you know how much you mean to me and everyone. We all will cherish the moments that we had with you and we look forward to being in your arms again.

Sharren loved little children, especially her own children and grandchildren. She taught many neighborhood children in Primary and Sunday School. They were always greeted with a loving hug and smile, even as they grew up to be adults. I loved to visit her in her home. She loved the color pink. Her pink fingernails and blonde hair were her signature color. Heaven is welcoming a valiant spirit.
