Sharren Jean Brewer's Obituary
Sharren Jean Brewer, age 78, passed away August 2, 2019 at her home in Sandy, Utah. Born February 10, 1941in Salt Lake City to Mae and Shelby Brewer.
Sharren worked as an executive secretary of HMBG at the University of Utah and also as an office manager at Daytimers. She is a celebrated Primary and Sunday School teacher. She helped many youth and fed them “Brewer Cakes”. Sharren always said “I love to share. That’s why my name is Sharren”. She was giving and generous and gave to many different charities while on a fixed income.
Sharren is survived by her children, Debbie (Sherm) Barber, Steven Thelin, Brent Thelin, Linda Lawrence, Jonathan (Julia) Walton, Emily Walton, and Kathryn (Scott) Butler; Grandchildren, Morgan (Kyle) Alm, Aubrey Butler, Beckham Butler, Channing Butler, Adrian Walton, Eric Walton, and other grandchildren not listed; brothers Allen Brewer, and Mickey (Lorraine) Brewer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the Crescent 7th Ward, 949 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, August 5th at the church, with a family viewing prior to the services on tusday. Interment to follow at Mountainview Memorial Park, 3115 East Bengal Blvd (7800 South), Cottonwood Heights.
