We watched Sherrie grow up as she lived right across the street from us on Hampton Ave. Her parents were dear and special friends of ours and we loved all of the Milner's so much. Their little store was the best place to grocery shop and Sherrie's Dad was a master meat cutter & a very generous soul. Faye, Sherrie's Mom, was a cook extraordinaire! Lots and lots of fun memories of the Milner's and we thank them for that.
Sherry was also a dear friend to my sister, Patsy. They are the same age and did a lot of fun things together.
Years later we would run into Sherry as she lived in the same ward as Al's cousin, Ferol Williams. Ferol also lived on Hampton Ave. and is the one who introduced me to Al. 57 years later we're still together!
We also know Doug and Gary very well!
We send our love and sympathy to Sherrie's family. My husband's health isn't the greatest right now and I'm the designated driver and DO NOT drive to SLC - - especially on the freeway. We're in our 80's now!
Please know our thoughts are with you.
With love,
Al & VaLois Paxman
