Lori Siekiera Yates
Stacy was my childhood friend, along with her sister, Judy. We grew up down the street from each other on Sapphire Drive. I can't tell you the number of hours I spent at the Brown's house over those years. So many fond memories! Playing croquet and badminton in their backyard, sleepovers, listening to records and the radio. I remember Stacy loved Tanya Tucker! Going to Lagoon, 4th of July parade and fireworks, just generally hanging out. Stacy always seemed to catch the boys' attention (yes, I was jealous). We drifted apart during our high school years, but tried to keep track of each other. The past ten years or so through Facebook posts. That's how I learned of her passing. My heartfelt condolences to Judy and Stacy's family. Rest in peace, my friend.
