Steve was a mans man! He was such an inspiration for me. I asked him to be my vet court mentor before I was ever even a part of the court. We rode together and he taught me some extremely fun maneuvers and to this day is the only rider that has the same fearless warrior take over the road spirit as I do and I still haven’t ridden with anyone else. Steve helped me in so many ways I couldn’t even begin to count them. I actually took my motorcycle endorsement test on his amazing bike! Steve I miss you tons and I’m sorry I missed your service, I know you know I would have been there had I known. Steve was more than just my vet court mentor he was my support system during an extremely difficult time of my life. He was my friend, but most importantly he was my brother in arms and I know that the good Lord has a place in the kingdom for Steve because I have never known anyone that actually cared about me like he did... I have to admit though when Steve shaved his beard and cut his hair I was extremely shocked but now in retrospect I understand that he did it as an example for me personally and I was to stubborn to take the sacrifice he made for me by cutting his hair to heart and follow his lead and honor him by cutting mine too. I would shave my head if it would reverse time so we could go on one more ride bro. You’d have to ride my VRod though because I’m gonna need to ride your bike one more time! Lol ... I think I’m the only one he ever let ride it ?! Not really sure but he made me feel like I was so that’s good enough for me! Till we meet again bro... your friend forever, Scott Waltz
