Stewart "Bishop Paulsen" was a kind and loving leader and friend to our family. He called our two sons to serve as pianists for Priesthood opening exercises when they were teenagers. Although they were still playing out of the "Simplified Hymn book" he had complete faith in them and they knew it. We loved his sense of humor, relaxed manner, and felt his natural love extended to everyone he met. We send much love and hugs to his wonderful family.
I spent almost 10 years working at a credit union Stewart was a member of. He always came in for a chat and had a story to tell. I enjoyed a lot of laughs with Stewart over the years and am so sorry to hear of his passing.
So many memories of my best friend growing up on Melony Drive. Stewart was always such a positive influence in my life during those years.
Dear Bishop Paulsen, his tender heart, his goodness, his smile, love of music, his strong testimony, and friendship has blessed our family for many years, and the legacy he leaves with us is his example of enduring faith in Jesus Christ. I have many fond memories of Stewart. One of my favorites is when we were at Lake Powell and he was making a tuna fish sandwich. He got the can of tuna to make the sandwiches, but thr can slipped and fell into the deep lake – no more tuna fish sandwich. It always makes me laugh when I think of that time. We love the Paulsen Family and we are truly sorry that Stewart was called home so soon!

Stewart was a caring co-worker, helpful mentor, and a tremendous friend. He was a great part of our family down at American Roofing where he worked for over 10 years. He will be sorely missed, but the mark he made on the lives he touched will remain forever.
A cherished moment captured shortly before he performed our ring ceremony. I’m sure he was contemplating the right things to say (he always said the right things). Earlier that day he was one of the witnesses at our sealing. Both our fathers had passed and we chose him to stand in for one of them. We will miss Bishop Paulsen dearly. Annette and family are in our prayers. ❤️
