Dear John and family, Please accept my sincere condolences on Susan's recent passing. I can never forget all the wonderful times we had as children. She was my first and best friend for all my childhood years! We shared many hours with each other's families that were an important part of our young lives. Susan went on to have many adventures that I didn't know about. We only saw each other once since she moved to Utah when David and I stopped in Salt Lake City on vacation. She would be happy to know that River Front Park, where we spent many happy childhood hours, is now being rejuvenated for another generation of children and adults to enjoy. Dear Family of Susan J. Dornblaser, I am an attorney at Kirton McConkie in Salt Lake City. For many years I served as the Honorary Consul for the Federal Republic of Germany for the state of Utah. During that time, Susan served as my Germany Assistant and was superb in working with those who visited our office, including those who needed visas, passports, verified and certified documents and those who were German Nationals and were just struggling with one thing or another. Susan was so kind and considerate of them and such a help to me. I can't say enough good about her and her service to the people of the Federal Republic of Germany - including some very important people in the state of Utah - whom she treated with the same kindness and respect as those who were lost and "down-and-out. I was grateful for my association with Susan during those years. You can be proud of her and the way she represented her family here in Utah. She will be greatly missed. Charles W. Dahlquist
