Susan Reichel Dornblaser's Obituary
Susan J. (Reichl) Dornblaser, 77, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2023. She was born in 1945 in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late William Louis Reichl and Mary Veronica Sewards Reichl.
Susan was an adventurist, loving life, good wine, good food and good friends. She traveled widely and especially enjoyed trips to London. For many years, she was an avid skier, with memberships in several ski clubs and frequented the slopes in the Poconos, New England, Colorado and Utah. One of her greatest joys was caring for her beloved cats.
Susan was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and attended Cedar Crest College. For more than four decades, she was employed as an administrative assistant, legal secretary, office manager, and insurance agent. After relocating to Salt Lake City, she was employed by the Kirton & McConkie law firm as Legal Assistant/Honorary German Counsel. She retired in 2020.
Surviving are a brother, John Reichl (Barbara) of Fulton, Missouri, a niece Gina Younger (Rex), nephews Jeremy Reichl (Meaghn) and Bill Reichl (Tammy), and several close friends in Salt Lake City and Maryland.
Arrangements are entrusted to Premier Funeral Services. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.premierfuneral.com. A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Fulton, Missouri.
