Susan Elizabeth Anderson Sargent
Susan died September 5, 2016 at the age of 73 in American Fork, Utah. Born December 14, 1942 in Moline, Illinois to Warren A. Anderson and Marjorie E. Mallory. Susan was raised in Denver, CO. Where she attended Denver East High School followed by Colorado Women’s College. She met Robert A. Sargent while working for Western Airlines and they were married on February 14, 1970 in Honolulu, HI. Their marriage was later sealed together for eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Sue and Bob called several places home during their married life including San Mateo CA, Sheridan WY, and Salt Lake City UT where they raised their two sons Scott and Brian.
Sue had a great love of the gospel of Jesus Christ, she served others through various callings in the Relief Society, Primary, and Sunday School. Preceded in death by husband Robert and her mother and father. Survived by her brother Jon Anderson, Aurora, CO; sons Scott R. Sargent, Broomfield, CO and Brian P. Sargent, Mesa, AZ; Stepchildren John Sargent, Roy UT, and Anne Amanda Schmutz, Idaho Falls ID, along with seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday September 9th in Highland Utah at the Highland 12th Ward, 5853 West 10400 North, Highland, Utah 84003. A viewing will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park located at 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84106
