Tom touched the lives of many boys. He loved making arrows to hand out to boys who had earned their Arrow of Light. He loved teaching Native American regalia to boys in the Order of Arrow. He loved teaching and helping young men in and out of Scouting.

We absolutley loved Tom and the whole family. He was our faithful home teacher / minister / friend. He was the whole reason I built a float to honor his many years of service to the boy scouts in this area. He will be missed!
Tom called me cousin because my mom was a Grover and we were connected somewhere clear back in the line. I really enjoyed Tom. He was so interesting to talk to and so well read. I will miss him.

My wonderful friend Breanne often opted out of coming to our friend outings in high school, and after meeting her family, it made sense to me why. The feeling of belonging and simplicity and love that was present in the Grover home, under the fatherly care of Mr. Thomas Grover, will always be a soft spot in my heart. I felt like one of the Grovers! I had a couple of opportunities in the past five years to see Mr. Grover and he'd always take the time to stop whatever he was doing, and talk with me. He was an amazing man, and has some amazing kids.
Tom Grover. Meant a lot to me , He always took time to share his thoughts and life experiences.Nowadays most people just wave and keep moving. Tom could always sense when I needed a neighborly visit. He cared. He was one of the special people in Apollo’s life. He would pick him up and sit him on his lap. This show of Christlike love sunk deep into my soul. Apollo would just hear his voice and light up.Tom I will miss you and treasure our friendship until we meet again. Say Hi to Apollo for me-I know he will want to talk with you❤️
