Verl and I were school chums and always next to each other in photos. We reconnected on FB and a class Reunion, so, so thankful that we did. We shared a long and wonderful friendship. It is so hard to say goodbye for a little while. Serving with Verl at the Copper Ridge Care Center was one of the highlights of my life. I always looked forward to those days when he would be conducting or giving a lesson. He usually had a joke to tell and a loving smile for our brothers and sisters there and of course, we all realized he is the real Santa. It was hard for him and the rest of us to say goodbye to those sweet spirits as so many of them completed their final journey on this side of the veil. I know he is getting so many hugs and feeling the joy of seeing them in their beauty and free from all they were suffering through. He talked so much about his love for his family and is proud of all of his Children. I pray the Lord's atonement will bring you all peace and comfort through your sorrow with the knowledge that it will just be a short time before you are with him again. Love, Reena Price.
