Verl Roy Beck's Obituary
Verl Roy Beck passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 1st at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 28, 1948. Verl was known for his hard work, dependability and quick wit. He was blessed to be able to work up until the day before he passed. Verl took this same work ethic to his passion for scouting. The 44 boys who he helped earn their Eagle Scout rank will fondly remember him as the old buzzard behind them. His family knows that he will go on helping them "to rise up with wings as eagles."
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Sandra Thomas Beck and his children: Blair, Shaun, Anne, Shannon, Blaine, Tracey, Gage, Roman and Harmony and his 6 grandchildren. Viewing will be held Monday December 7, from 6 to 8 pm and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:45 am.
The funeral will be Tuesday December 8th at 11 am. Services will be held at the Jordan Oaks Stake center at 8117 S. 3905 W. West Jordan UT.
