My Mom, Jean Lefler Knutson, and my Dad, Leonard Knutson were friends of Wally and Connie and spoke very fondly of them through the years. Mom will be very sad to hear this. We have tried to get in touch with them but didn't know how. Laurie was my best friend and I have wonderful memories of times together. Wally and Connie always made us feel so at home - even last time we visited them years ago and celebrated with Jeff and Laurie and Roger and I. Wonderful family and wonderful parents. Sheryl (Fairfield) and Bill Ischen. I always thought Wally and Connie were the ultimate couple, so perfect together. I always remember being at Annie’s and thinking that it was so neat to have two different stairways to their apartment. Then later, I babysat for you kids in their new home.The Burrills, Kruegers and Fairfields had a special connection to each other. I was going to send Connie a card, but I hope she reads these memories. We want to extend our love and sympathy to the entire Burrill family and give Connie a hug from me.
