Dearest Zac,
The love we felt for you, and your love for us, was a truly precious gift. Even amidst our deep sorrow, we felt a profound peace as we reflected on your life and your unwavering trust in God. Your most important friendship, dear Zac, was with Jesus Christ, and through Him, you blessed us soooooooooo much.
We are so comforted by the knowledge that for those who "die in the Lord," death can be sweet, and there is a glorious hope of a resurrection, for all who live together in love and mourn with that hope (D&C 42:45-46). We trust that these scriptures apply to you and hope they apply to all of us.
Your gentle soul, rooted in Christ, remains a cherished memory, and the simplicity and intricacy of the snowflake remind us of you...so simple yet so unique, a cherished child of God.
As you have shared, "Jesus is my only hope." This truth brought you peace, and it brought us peace and especially brings us peace now.
With eternal love and hope,
Aunt Suzi and Uncle Garry
