Zina Norrine Jackson Wall's Obituary
Zina Norrine Jackson Wall of Layton, Utah, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, on May 27, 2023. Returning to her Heavenly Father.
Zina was born December 11, 1945 in Pocatello, Idaho to John Nichols Jackson and Martha Elizabeth Bell McFarland. She was the 3rd child and only daughter among 5 brothers, whom she loved dearly.
This child of God has always been a most wonderful mother and grandmother to her children, grandchildren and had she lived longer she no doubt would have been the same to her just recently born great granddaughter. Whether in fun and play, or difficult times she tried her very best to provide for them, always making sure they were safe, healthy and protected. She will be sorely missed by her children, grandchildren and newest granddaughter. May God Bless this woman of high integrity beyond measure for all the love she has so freely given and taught to her family over the years, always knowing her legacy will live on through her descendants with many pleasurable and fond memories. We love her so much and will miss her terribly.
Zina was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Over her lifetime she held various positions in the church. She was a member of the Emerald Ward which she loved. Her love of the Savior and membership in the LDS church was her life's compass. She had a deep love for genealogy which I believe she wholeheartedly inherited from her Mother.
She moved from Pocatello to SLC, Utah where she met her future husband, Rolland Clark Wall. They were married on Dec 10, 1966 in Elko, Nevada. They were later Sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1974.
Zina and Rolland had three children, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Martha. She is survived by her children - - Randall, Kristina, Sheldon (Misti) - 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; and her brothers -John (JoAnn), Paul (Sandra), Lawrence (Terri), Noel (Susan) and Kirk (Debbie).
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 2, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at the Emerald Ward Building, 1325 E Cherry Lane, Layton, Utah, with a Viewing prior to the Service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the above mentioned location.
Interment, Sutton Cemetery in Archer, Idaho.
